Rules
Deadline: March 15, 2009
The competition is open to photographers anywhere in the world. Only original photos taken by the entrant will be considered.
How To Enter
All entries must be digital files on CD-ROM accompanied by an official entry form or facsimile and entry fees. You may enter work in any and all categories; there is no limit to the number of images you may submit. You may mail all your entries in one envelope. Incomplete entry forms—such as those without telephone numbers will be disqualified.
Entry Fees
Each image constitutes a single entry. The fees are $10 per entry.
Payment Information
Make checks payable (in U.S. funds, drawn on a U.S. bank) to Scuba Diving Photo Contest. Payment must accompany entries. Entries received without payment will be disqualified. Entry fees are nonrefundable. One check may be used to cover multiple entries if all entries are submitted in the same package.
When paying by credit card, be sure to complete the credit card information requested on the entry form.
Preparing Your Entries
Only digital files accepted. Digital files may be submitted in jpeg or tiff format, on CD-ROM only. Multiple entries may be submitted on a single CD-ROM. Images must be no less than 300 dpi at 8.5 x 11 inches. The following information must be included on each CD-ROM: your name, address, phone number and category or categories you are entering. Submissions will not be accepted via email.
Prints or slides will not be accepted as entries. Entries will not be returned.
Deadline
All entries must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2009.
Notification
All winners will be notified by May 15, 2009. The results will not be made public until they are published in Scuba Diving. Non-winning entrants will not be individually notified of the results. Your cancelled check or credit-card charge will be notification for receipt of your entry. Include a self-addressed, stamped postcard if you want to be notified directly of your entry's receipt.
