Scuba Diving magazine has named a new editor-in-chief, Patricia Wuest. Citing her long experience in the dive industry, Bonnier Corp. Chief Content Officer David Ritchie described Patricia as “the obvious and correct choice to lead this brand to new heights.” (Bonnier Corp. is the publisher of Scuba Diving, Sport Diver and The Undersea Journal.)
“Patricia has been associated with Scuba Diving for more than 20 years, starting as assistant editor in 1992 when the brand was based in Savannah, Georgia. She served the bulk of those years as managing editor of the title, and after a successful transition to Bonnier, she assumed managing editor responsibilities for the entire Bonnier Dive Group. In 2011 Patricia was promoted to the senior editor position, first at Scuba Diving and most recently at Sport Diver. She has also contributed regularly to the production of PADI's Undersea Journal.
“Throughout her tenure at Bonnier, Patricia has provided quality leadership to the dive team. Thanks to her long-standing history with this brand, her proven editorial and leadership skills, and her prowess within the digital content world, Patricia Wuest is the obvious and correct choice to lead this brand to new heights. Congratulations, Patricia!”
