Sweepstakes Official Rules
No Purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. You have not yet won. Odds of winning: 1 out of all eligible entries received. The sponsor of the sweepstakes is World Publications (the "Sponsor").
Entries for this contest are accepted online and by mail via the Free Information card supplied with the issue. To enter, visit http://www.scubadiving.com/community/contests/2010/07/the-grand-cayman-k... complete, and submit the online entry form. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Sponsor will randomly select the winner from all eligible entries received on or about 12/31/2010. Winner will be notified by e-mail on or about 12/31/2010. If winner is notified by e-mail, the winner must reply with all contact information requested within five (5) days from the date notification e-mail was sent, or another winner may be selected. Winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability within 14 days of receipt. In the event of noncompliance within 14 days, an alternate winner may be selected. Winner selection is under the supervision of Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Only residents of the 50 United States, and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older are eligible.
Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate families & household members are not eligible. Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and is void wherever prohibited by law. Any prize or prize notification returned to Sponsor as undeliverable may result in the awarding of the prize to an alternate winner. By acceptance of prize, winner allows use of their name, photograph or other likeness, testimonial and other biographical information for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, trade and/or promotion on behalf of Sponsor, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Submission of entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant's submitted information for marketing and promotion purposes subject to Sponsor's privacy policies unless prohibited by law. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
CONSUMER DISCLOSURE
No fee to enter. You have not yet won. Prize: Grand Prize – trip for two including airfare from any Cayman Airways gateway city, airport transfers in Grand Cayman, five nights at Cobalt Coast Dive Resort in a panoramic ocean suite, daily breakfast included. The winner also will enjoy four days of diving with Divetech including daily boat dives and unlimited shore diving. The grand prize also includes two SUBGEAR Cayman regulators; 1st Prize: Four-night stay at the East End with Compass Point Dive Resort and three diving days for two with Ocean Frontiers; 2nd Prize: Three-night stay on world famous Seven Mile Beach at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort and two exciting diving days for two with Red Sail Sports; 3rd Prize: Three two-tank boat dives and unlimited shore diving for 2 with Eden Rock Diving Center. Blackout dates may apply, travel dates based on availability, certain airport, departure and sales tax fees may apply. Where applicable, diving and accommodation portion of prizes must be redeemed at same time and all travel must be completed by December 31, 2011.
SCUBA diving certification card must be presented at the time of diving to redeem the diving portion of the prize. Applicable room taxes and sales taxes on package elements are additional and are the responsibility of the prize winner.
All other expenses, including, but not limited to, airfare where none is included in the prize, airfare from/to prize winner’s home town from/to Cayman Airways gateway city, sales taxes, gratuities, meals, ground transportation not mentioned above, and all incidental expenses, are the winner's sole responsibility. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Taxes on prize are winners' responsibility. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to unavailability.
Sponsor is not obligated or responsible for (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. Sponsor, in their sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of this promotion or otherwise violating these rules. If Sponsor determines, in its respective discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside their control compromise the integrity or viability of the promotion, Sponsor reserves the right to void entries at issue, modify the promotion and/or terminate the relevant portion of the promotion.
