Why Do You Think... “It’s Better in The Bahamas” Sweepstakes : OFFICIAL RULES
No Purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. You have not yet won. Odds of winning: 1 out of the total number of entries received each month. The sponsor of the sweepstakes is Bahamas Tourist Board (the "Sponsor").

Entries for this contest are only accepted online. To enter, visit http://www.scubadiving.com/community/contests/2009/10/why-do-you-think-i..., complete, and submit the online entry form. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Sselected winners will be picked from all eligible entries received on or about November 1st - November 31st, December 1st - December 31st, January 1st - January 31st, February 1st - February 28th, March 1st - March 31st, April 1st - April 30th and May 1st - May 31st. Winners will be notified by e-mail on or about Decemeber 15th, January 15th, February 15th, March 15th, April 15th and May 15th. If winner is notified by e-mail, the winner must reply with all contact information requested within five (5) days from the date notification e-mail was sent, or another winner may be selected. Winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability within 14 days of receipt. In the event of noncompliance within 14 days, an alternate winner may be selected. Winner selection is under the supervision of Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Only residents of the 50 United States, and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older are eligible. Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate families & household members are not eligible. Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and is void wherever prohibited by law. Any prize or prize notification returned to Sponsor as undeliverable may result in the awarding of the prize to an alternate winner. By acceptance of prize, winner allows use of their name, photograph or other likeness, testimonial and other biographical information for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, trade and/or promotion on behalf of Sponsor, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Submission of entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant's submitted information for marketing and promotion purposes subject to Sponsor's privacy policies unless prohibited by law. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE
No fee to enter. You have not yet won. 6 Grand Prizes: (November Prize) Stuart Cove’s Sheraton Nassau Beach, 4 nights, 3 days of unlimited diving including Shark Dives, for 2 divers. (December Prize) Exuma Dive Center: $400 in diving for 2 divers. (January Prize) Bimini Undersea / Bimini Bay 3 Night, 2 days of diving for 2 divers. (February Prize) Blackbeard’s Cruises 7 night Dive Liveabaord Cruise for 1 Diver. (March Prize) 4 Days, 3 nights at the Pelican Bay at Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island, including a 2-Tank UNEXSO Shark Dive, Plus 1 Night Dive for two people. (April Prize) 3 nights accommodations in a luxury townhome and 2 days of diving courtesy of Cape Eleuthera. Taxes & Service Charges included. Prizes will be awarded at the end of each month. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received for the month entered. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Taxes on prize are winners' responsibility. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to unavailability. Entries must be received by May 1st, 2010. Winners will be announced by May 30, 2010.

Sponsor is not obligated or responsible for (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. Sponsor, in their sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of this promotion or otherwise violating these rules. If Sponsor determines, in its respective discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside their control compromise the integrity or viability of the promotion, Sponsor reserves the right to void entries at issue, modify the promotion and/or terminate the relevant portion of the promotion.
