Dove, among other locations, Columbia Reef and Palencar Gardens. Both are beautiful but Palencar Gardens is probably best. Large number of swimthroughs.
Scuba Mau operates small/fast boats holding up to 6 divers. This, for me, is perfect! Fewer divers on fast boats. In the week I was there, we were passed by one boat. The rest of the time we were passing all other boats. Less time getting to the site is more time having fun. They were, at all times, very professional. The took charge of my gear between dives and the next morning, all my gear had been rinsed out and was ready to go. I just had to get on the boat.
You can also dive less money. I booked everything through them. The hotel & diving in one package. The hotel I choose was next door to their operation. It was the Villablanca Hotel. I would give it a 7-8 rate rating. A decent/clean hotel with all tile floors so it's ok to be wet. The prices are great. Two people diving staying at the hotel for 7 nights and diving 5 days is less than $500/each. This includes UNLIMITED shore dives! You can do a 2-tank dive in the morning and a shallow drift shore dive in the afternoon. They will even drive you up the road to an entry point you can drift from.
