Rescue Diver Class

I just completed the PADI rescue diver course in Minnesota. I was apprehensive at first, thinking that I wouldn't be able to complete some of the skills due to my size and strength, however the instructors were very helpful reassuring me that I would be just fine. I found the class very useful; it has allowed me to become a more confident diver and gain better mastery of some of those basic skills (ie bouyancey).

The instructor was great, making the rescue scenarios as real as possible, and giving us pointers on what we could've done to make the rescue go smoother while reassuring us that what we did do wasn't wrong. The open water portion of the class was a bit different because we were practicing in a lake that wasn't as deep and we didn't have to worry about waves or currents as we might have had to in the ocean.

I would highly recommend this class for any and all divers. It is information that is good to know, even if you never use it. ( I am sorry this isn't longer or more detailed.)
