TEST STATS 4 (VERY GOOD)

PERFORMANCE
The Oceanic VT 4.0 truly raises the bar for wrist-mounted dive computers. The system offers numerous user adjustments, including the ability to change decompression algorithms to make it more liberal or conservative. The system includes a three-axis digital compass, customizable dive-mode display, and the ability to monitor up to four transmitters, including a Buddy Pressure Check feature. Our testers found the interface intuitive and liked the easy-to-read display. The only downside noted was having to to decipher the numerous abbreviations used in the interface.

LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE
Select between two decompression algorithms and one conserva- tive factor to make the system Liberal, Moderately Conservative or Conservative.

BOTTOM LINE
With the most available user settings of this test, the VT 4.0 is our Testers’ Choice.
