ScubaLab Mask Tests 2011: Riffe Naida

Riffe Naida

Jon Whittle/ Carrie Garcia

Riffe Naida
Riffe offers this good-fitting low-volume mask as a companion piece to its speargun and free-diving products. Testers found the buckles and straps easy to adjust, and loved the numbers embossed on the strap, a clever innovation that guarantees an even adjustment of the right and left sides. The lenses come in clear, amber and mirror finishes to cut glare. Testers loved the sunglasses effect of the amber lenses top-side (the mirrored lenses were not tested), and underwater vision provided was very good. The Naida’s frame is a durable nylon and the silicone is comfortable, making it a mask that more than just free divers will appreciate.
