Into the Blue - A Bimini Adventure with Wakeboarding Magazine

This past May, professional wakeboarders Danny Hampson, Collin Harrington and Derek Cook, along with photographer Bryan Soderlind and WAKEBOARDING's Emily Dale, made the 50-mile crossing from Florida to the Bahamas in the 21-foot Yamaha 212X.

In this episode of "Into the Blue" the crew had a full day of activities and adventures in beautiful Bimini, the Bahamas' western-most island. They spent the day wakeboarding, wakeskating, snorkeling, swimming with stingrays, spearfishing, and exploring the S.S. Sapona, a well-known shipwreck. And when the day was done, they headed to a local spot to grill up the fish they had caught earlier that evening.

In Part 2 of "Into the Blue" the weather had finally caught up to the crew, waking up to a strong wind that made it nearly impossible to find any good water for riding. Fortunately for them, right next to the hotel was a protected quarry with decent conditions. After wakeboarding, they found time to snorkel and free dive around some nearby cays before calling it a day.
