Overview

The "SEA DRAGON" is an eight guest Live-aboard Dive Vessel.  Captain Dan Doyle and Captain Sue Ford have operated first the "DRAGON LADY" and now the "SEA DRAGON" since 1972.  Captain Linda Fox joined us in 1990.  The year 2012 will be our 40th year offering Live-aboard diving in the Exuma Cays and Conception Island National Sea Parks of the Bahamas.

The "SEA DRAGON" is based In Nassau, Bahamas for Dive expeditions to the Exuma Cays, Eleuthera, and Little Cat Island from  September through early June.  We move our base to Great Exuma, Bahamas during the calm summer months for expeditions to Long Island, Conception Island (our favorite), San Salvador, and Rum Cay.  Both The Northern Exuma Cays and Conception Island in the Southern Bahamas are Bahamian National Land and Sea Parks abundant in coral reefs and  marine life.

The current fed coral reefs and walls of the Exuma Cays are vibrantly alive and teaming with schools of fish, hard and soft corals, sponges, invertebrates, Just about everything you would want to see or photograph.  Conception Island and San Sal in the remote Southern Bahamas are famous for their dramatic Wall Diving (Walls starting in as shallow as 30 feet) with over the edge monster sponges, trees of "Black Coral", overhanging sea whips and gorgonians, wrecks (old with cannons - modern with steam engines and boilers), high profile reefs (with tunnels and swim troughs),  and regular "Hammerhead" sightings.  The southern Bahamas are "Offshore" Islands surrounded by the deep clear blue Atlantic Ocean.

The "SEA DRAGON" has accommodations for eight  diving guests.  All of our dive expeditions are custom designed for a charter group.  The group organizer can schedule any number of days and any beginning day or ending day of the week.  Set up a trip for your own group or join up with a trip already scheduled.  We have both 6 days of diving (7 nights onboard from $1420 pp - low season discounted with taxes and fees included ), up to 10 days of diving (11 nights onboard) or any length dive expedition you choose.  We welcome you to come dive with us and see some of the Best Diving the Bahamas has to offer.
