****The Simply Chopped****®****_ Story:_****

Where did it all begin? Over the course of a decade, there were a couple things that brought Simply Chopped® to Angela, and now to you.

At the age of 16, Angela received her PADI Open Water certification in San Carlos, New Mexico. Shortly after, she joined the US Army and spent 6 years serving her country all over the world. After an honorable discharge, she finished her education in the field of medicine. The common thread for these activities was her need for a great-tasting snack that she could take with her on the go -- whether it be on a diving excursion, during a military march, or running around in the hospital where she worked.

Over the years, Angela created many recipes which were both healthy and portable. After what she said felt like an endless combination of fruit and nut blends, she settled on the final recipes that both she and her friends love the taste of -- and now bring to fellow divers.

"All of us at Simply Chopped believe life is precious and deserves the opportunity to thrive. To help achieve this, a portion of Simply Chopped** **profits will be donated to reputable charitable organizations that support ocean conservation," Angela said. "On the land or in the water, we hope you enjoy our bars as much as we do!"
