The new PowerCom and MilCom wireless acoustic receiver units from OTS utilize a specially designed replaceable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This battery provides a greater range of operation than previous models and up to 14 hours of talk time. The new models have improved clarity and feature an “Extra Loud” voice menu volume control. Physical upgrades to the system include updated mounting and strain reliefs, plus more replaceable components for quicker service and easier repairs. Both the PowerCom and MilCom feature an all-new Scrambler Mode, which enables wireless communications to be transmitted discreetly and securely. There are three different models, the PowerCom 3000D, PowerCom 5000D and MilCom 6000D. Receiver units can be converted into a portable surface station with an optional CDK-6 kit.
