Marine Life: Peacock Flounder

Camera: Olympus SP-350 w/PT-030 Housing, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe

Settings: 0.58 Wide Angle Conversion Lens @ f5.6, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe @ f4

Description: I found this flounder laying on the bottom at about 20 feet. It took about 5 minutes and 20 pictures with the flash firing each time before I could get close enough to take this picture. Of the 6,000 we took during this trip, this is by far my favorite.

Dive Site: The Lake, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles

Marine Life: Green Turtle

Camera: Olympus SP-350 w/ PT-030 Housing, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe

Settings: 0.58 Wide Angle Conversion Lens @ f5.6, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe @ f11

Description: Although this Green Turtle is swimming away from the camera, I still feel it's a great picture because I was able to completely dial in on the turtle, causing a really cool effect.

Dive Site: Salt Pier, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles

Marine Life: Decorator Crab

Camera: Olympus SP-350 w/ PT-030 Housing, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe

Settings: 0.58 Wide Angle Conversion Lens @ f5.6, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe @ f4

Description: This tiny decorator crab was just hanging out on a rock. The black background makes for a nice composition.

Dive Site: Corporal Meiss (aka North Belnem), Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles

Marine Life: Lizard Fish

Camera: Olympus SP-350 w/ PT-030 Housing, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe

Settings: Lens @ 22mm @ f5.6, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe @ f5.6

Description: This Lizard Fish let me get about 10 inches away, allowing me to take this close-up shot of its head. The color in its eye remind me of Australian Opal, really beautiful.

Dive Site: Town Pier, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles

Marine Life: Baby Octopus

Camera: Olympus SP-350 w/ PT-030 Housing, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe

Settings: Lens @ 14mm @ f5.6, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe @ f4

Description: I was able to get this great shot of a baby octopus during a dusk dive at the Town Pier in Bonaire before it went in its hole. Fortunately it started showing a few black dots on it's body, or it would've been really hard to see since it is perfectly camouflaged.

Dive Site: Hens & Chickens, Tavernier, Florida Keys

Marine Life: Caribbean Reef Squid

Camera: Olympus SP-350 w/ PT-030 Housing, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe

Settings: Lens @ 24mm @ f4.9, Sea & Sea YS-25DX Auto Strobe @ f8

Description: It took 10 minutes and about 30 pictures before this Caribbean Reef Squid let me get in close enough to take this picture from about a foot away.
