Location: Nova Scotia Dive Site: Brier Island, Bay of Fundy Marine Life ID: Lumpfish Camera and Settings: Nikon f90x in Ikelite housing, 60mm micro, TTL, f-16, 2 Ikelite SS 100A, Velvia Description: This male lumpfish guards its eggs at the bottom of the tide-ripped Grand Passage in the world's highest tides at the Bay of Fundy.

Location: Labrador Dive Site: Near L'Anse Amour Marine Life ID: Lion's mane jellyfish Camera and Settings: Nikon F4s Aquatica A4n housing, Nikkor 20mm, manual strobe, 2 Ikelite 100a, Velvia Description: Diving one day off the coast of Labrador, I found myself in super-cold 32F degree water in the middle of a swarm of enormous lion's mane jellies.
Rock crab and pink coralline algae
Location: Nova Scotia Dive Site: Sandy Cove, Bay of Fundy Marine Life ID: Rock crab and pink coralline algae Camera and Settings: Nikon f90x, Ikelite Housing, 60mm micro lens, TTL, two Ikelite 100a strobes, Velvia Description: There's a particular area at this dive site where the entire rocky bottom is encrusted with beautiful pink coralline algae and many of the animals living here, including this rock crab, have adapted well to their environment.

Giant anemone
Location: Bonaire Dive Site: Angel City Marine Life ID: Giant anemone Camera and Settings: Nikon f90x in Aquatica, 60mm micro, TTL, f-8, Velvia, 2 Ikelite Substrobe 100a Description: I found this beautiful giant anemone on the top of the reef and framed it to bring in the blue background of the water above, shooting it at a wider aperture to highlight color and form.
French angel
Location: Roatan Dive Site: CoCo View Reef Marine Life ID: French angel Camera and Settings: Nikon f90x in Ikelite Housing, 60mm micro, TTL, f-16, 2 Ikelite SS 100A, Velvia Description: I swam beside this very curious French angel for over three dives until it got used to me and I was able to capture it, while we both swam in mid-water.
