In August 2009 we stayed for 2 weeks at the Cozumel Palace, and decided to dive with Aqua Safari, rather than Aqua World.
The Cozumel Palace was previously called Plaza Las Glorias, but the hotel got bought by the Palace Hotel chain and completely renovated and upgraded. It's an all-inclusive hotel.

On June 12th Ian and I left DFW for Cozumel on AeroMexico
at 7 am arriving at 9:40 am. We were checked in and unpacked by 11.
We had pre-arranged a boat dive at 1 pm which included other divers

I spent a week diving in Cozumel from the Palace Resort with their onsite shop, Aqua Safari. Overall, they were a good shop; I've give them a B, but not a class A (like valet diving in the Caymans). They have several boats, all with heads (important to me). The boats have all been around a while, but overall, good shape.
Actually several reefs in one, this is one of the most popular night dives in Cozumel. Featuring a plethora of sealife, look for crabs, rays, eels, lobsetr and the unusual toadfish.
Yucab is a drift dive that also offers protected areas popular with underwater photographers. Colorful corals and lots of fish, including parrot fish, angelfish, butterfly fish and trunkfish.
Tormentos offers a striking drift dive at depths between 30-70 feet, with a wide variety of corals and and fish life. Frequent visitors include snapper, chub, wrasse and margates.
Cozumel is full of surprises even for divers who have been there countless times, including newly discovered sites and the margarita-fueled fun of Carnaval.
