Entry Documents: A valid passport and tourist card is required for entry. Proof of travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses, is required for all travelers. Tourist visas are also required. As of late 2013, travel to Cuba is legal for American divers if traveling with an approved educational group such as the OceanDoctor.org program.
