My wife and I just returned from a dive trip to Curacao. We stayed at the Hilton and dove with Ocean Encounters. We had great dives all four days. Ocean Encounters was a great operation. They took us to fantastic sites, the boats and crews were very professional, and the reefs were in great shape.
On the Netherland Antilles island of Curacao, twice-annual coral spawning events have begun to attract divers who want to experience one.
The reef is just a short swim from the resort dock. Night divers can be seen from the shore as they move about under the surface with dive lights and camera flashes. One of the most pristine reefs in Curacao.
This site is a macro-diver's haven. Look for frogfish, seahorses and juvenile spotted drums.
Near Caracas Bay, this wall and reefscape on either side of the bay can be accessed from shore or boat.
Great for diving and snorkeling. Big fat parrotfish and yellow tail jacks around the Tugboat that are used to being fed and will approach the diver waiting for food - usually bread.
