Tusa Intega Dive Mask: ScubaLab Testers Choice

We tested the Tusa Intega dive mask. Offering an excellent fit and exceptional comfort it was our Testers Choice for dual-lens masks.

We tested masks in the field at Alexander Springs Recreation Area in Central Florida. We evaluated masks for the ease and security of making mask adjustments and the overall comfort of the mask in the water. We also rated masks for their field of view, how effectively their seals kept our faces dry, and how easy they were to clear and equalize.

With a soft, supple skirt, this mask molds to a variety of face shapes and sizes for a perfect fit with very little pressure. The resulting seal tied the top scores for dryness and comfort. “Perfect seal, like you’re not wearing a mask at all,” is how one test diver described it. “Butter-soft seal is smooth and effective,” another said.

Field of view is a bit narrow, but still scored good. Ergonomic buckles are completely silent and make for effortless, precise adjustment of the 3D (three dimensional) mask strap.

A favorite among test divers offering outstanding performance and comfort, the Intega is our Testers Choice for dual lens masks.
