As a kid, I was afraid of the water but decided to overcome my fear as an adult. I took scuba classes and was disappointed in the training so I decided to become an instructor myself to give others the attention during training I wish I had. I went to Hall's Academy and have been in love with the water ever since. A photographer by trade, I moved to Monterey, CA in 2010 to combine my two loves of photography and diving and took a job at Backscatter Underwater Photography and Video.
