Check out this amazing video from Dr. Ingrid Visser, whose research and dedication to orca whales helped change their status in New Zealand from "common" in the NZ Threat Classification System to "nationally critical." This video was a collaboration between Visser and GoPro, and documents an incredible orca rescue. Visser, who founded the Orca Research Trust Organization, contributed substantial underwater footage of these amazing creatures that was included in the Blackfish documentary.
