Video: ScubaLab Testers Choice Dive Computer — Sherwood Scuba Vision

The Sherwood Scuba Vision dive computer was rated best in its category by divers in the 2016 Dive Computer Review, so we added more details on the easy-to-use computer in the video below.

I'm Roger Roy, the ScubaLab Director. We tested the Sherwood Scuba Vision dive computer. With a clear, easy-to-read display, intuitive operation and lots of advanced features, it was our Testers Choice for console dive computers.

We tested the Vision at the University of Southern California's hyperbaric chamber on Catalina Island. We also took it into the field for test dives at Blue Grotto Dive Resort in Central Florida.

We put it through a series of carefully controlled, simulated dives alongside other computers to see how its decompression algorithm performed. We evaluated how easy it was to set up and use, how well we could read the screen in different conditions, and how it presented important information during our dives.

The Vision's display has characters that are bold and a layout that is very clean and uncluttered so it is easy to see all of your dive data. It has advanced features including four gas mixes and the ability to customize the alternate screen data. The three button operation is simple and quick. The Vision also has a locking quick-disconnect and user-replaceable battery.

With a slim compact profile, air-integration and a digital compass, the Vision puts all of your dive information in the palm of your hand.

And that's why the Sherwood Scuba Vision is a ScubaLab's Testers Choice.
