The Southern Cross Club’s fourteen very comfortable beach bungalows, are dappled over 900ft of pristine white sand beach and are all ocean front; facing gorgeous South Hole Sound and uninhabited Owen Island. This layout affords a cooling southern breeze from the summer trade winds and stellar ocean views from each room. Set in the middle of this row of bungalows is Club’s main building; The Clubhouse features the main dining room, a screened, open air dining pavilion, an upper deck, the Loggerhead Bar and thatched Tiki bar around the saltwater pool.
The resort’s bungalows are each as unique and vibrant as the sea they fringe and are colored to mimic the spirit of the Caribbean Sea. All cottages have private baths, outside decks and air-conditioning; some have a king bed, others two queens and many have an additional day bed overlooking South Hole Sound Lagoon and a private outdoor shower. The two bedroom suite, Blossom Cottage, is perfect for small families or small groups of friends and the popular Honeymoon Cottage features a private outdoor shower overlooking the colorful South Hole Sound lagoon.

Southern Cross Club’s dedicated dive operation provides an ideal opportunity to explore the best Little Cayman has to offer. The dive program is designed to comfortably serve both experienced divers with thousands of dives under his or her wetsuit, as well as the novice who wants to learn the names of the hundreds of fish seen every day on dives.
The dive operation runs two boats and allows only a restricted number of divers on board at any given time, following a strict policy of “non-cattle diving”, which gives the dive team an opportunity to ensure the guests get the most diligent service possible. The enthusiastic and experienced dive team guide all dives; offering guests an opportunity to get the most from their dives and ensure they don’t miss some of the marine life treasures, which are often hidden to the less experienced eye.
The flexible and professional dive operation offers 2-tank morning, afternoon, dusk and night dives, as well as all the requisite PADI certifications, refresher courses, specialties, and Discover Scuba Diving.
For many years, before the Southern Cross Club pioneered the diving on the island, Little Cayman was known primarily as a fishing destination. Due to the minimal development on the island’s shores, the flats fishing inside the reef is diverse and exciting.
Southern Cross Club has the only full service fishing facility on Little Cayman with a full time professional guide. Even though Little Cayman is only 10 square miles in size, the ecosystem is dynamic. Fly Fishing enthusiasts come from around the globe to stalk the Bonefish, Permit, and Tarpon. The diversity also includes off-shore fishing along the sheer ocean drop-offs for species such as Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna and Marlin.
The Little Cayman ecosystem is small but very dynamic; the resort does not take more than 2 dedicated fishing packages at any one time and is dedicated to maintaining a healthy fishery and follows sustainable fishing practices.
