H2O Heros

Honoring living legends of Diving's underwater world

They share a quality that is difficult, if not impossible, to define. They are scientists. They are photographers. They go where no one has ever gone before. They are the people who have opened today's frontiers, and they're opening tomorrow's, too. They are today's innovators and thought-shapers when it comes to diving and the marine environment. They not only live the dive life, they live it large — they dream and breathe it. They are today's living legends of diving, the heroes and heroines who amaze us, inspire us and keep us diving.

March 24-26, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey, Beneath the Sea (the world's largest consumer scuba and dive-travel show) will celebrate its 30th anniversary by honoring 30 Legends of the Sea — people who have made diving, the dive life and the underwater world what it is today. Join Sport Diver, the PADI Diving Society and the dive community in celebrating our icons.
