LA PAZ, MEXICO UPDATE: Ready To Receive Tourists This Season

• La Paz International Airport is operating normally.

• Water and power services have resumed complete functionality.

The La Paz Tourism Board and the La Paz Hotel Association announce that the La Paz International Airport, water and power services, and businesses, are all operating normally. This allows the city to invite domestic and international tourists to visit the destination where its people, its attractions and its high-level of infrastructure are waiting with arms wide open, to make their stay a unique and pleasant experience.

It is with pride that we announce the capital city of Baja California Sur is standing, after the damages caused by Hurricane Odile, thanks to the coordinated work of federal, state and local government, service providers in general and especially, the efforts of the La Paz citizens. La Paz will continue to support all the other towns and municipalities affected by Odile, in the hopes that the entire State will return to normal as soon as possible and will continue to be the world-class destination it always has been.
