Tilos Revo Mask: ScubaLab Best Buy

I’m Robby Myers with ScubaLab, we tested the Tilos Revo mask. With solid performance at a reasonable price, it was our Best Buy for dual-lens masks. We tested it in the field at Alexander Springs Recreation Area in Central Florida. We evaluated it for the ease and security of making strap adjustments and the overall comfort of the mask in the water. We also rated it for its field of view, how effectively its seal kept our faces dry, and how easy it was to clear and equalize. Sometimes the thing that stands out about a mask is the thing test divers didn’t like about it.

But in the case of the Revo, testers had a tough time coming up with complaints, giving it very good scores almost across the board. In fact, the only exception was for ease of adjustment--where it was rated excellent. And that was despite having twice the chance to miss the mark, since we tested the Revo with both the standard silicone strap and the optional elastic one. “Straps are easy to adjust and easy to switch out,” was a typical tester comment. Testers also praised the dry comfort of the silky skirt and wide-open field of view offered by the Revo’s big windows. Chosen among the favorites of multiple test divers and one of the lowest-priced masks in our test, the Tilos Revo is our Best Buy.
