The film will focus on the destructive global shark-fin trade, which devastates the population of sharks worldwide. The trailer shows Stewart traveling around the globe, with several scenes in Costa Rica, trying to hold government officials accountable and filming sharks in their natural habitat. Stewart's accident is mentioned in the trailer, and it will be interesting to see how the cast — which includes Brock Cahill, Madison Stewart, Will Allen and Regina Domingo — will be able to complete the film in the aftermath. This is a follow-up to the 2006 film Sharkwater, which was written and directed by Stewart.
