UPDATE: According to an update by WESH, the search for a Seminole County man, missing in the Florida Keys, has been suspended, according to the Coast Guard.

A scuba diver from Winter Springs, Florida, has been missing since Saturday morning after diving in the Florida Keys.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the missing man is 32-year-old Matthew Milton.

Milton and his brother, Jeff Stewart, headed out Saturday morning in a 23-foot fishing boat and were scheduled to return later that evening.

Stewart told Deputy Nelson Sanchez he and Milton surfaced from their last dive and realized their boat had drifted away. The two got separated after they swam for the boat but couldnt catch up. Stewart swam to a mooring buoy, where he was later rescued.

"It's sad, man, it's terrible. I feel bad for the family. No one deserves to go through [this] especially with a child," Ian Atwill, Milton's neighbor, said in an interview with WESH. "He's a nice guy. He's always out here playing with his kid. It's a tragic thing."

Crews aboard a Coast Guard helicopter, an airplane and a 154-foot cutter were out searching on Monday according to the Miami Herald.

As of Tuesday, the United States Coast Guard has searched more than 3,750 square miles, according to Local 10.
