Winner of the 2011 APEX Award from Polartec for the “most outstanding Polartec based product", the SB SYSTEM Mid Layer is built from the first and only fleece fabric designed specifically to be worn under a drysuit.

Acting as the thermal layer in the SB SYSTEM, the SB SYSTEM Mid Layer is made from Polartec’s advanced stretch breathable compression-resistant fleece providing extreme warmth without bulk.  It also maintains insulating values at changing depths allowing the diver's core temperature to remain stable.

Offered as a one or two piece and a vest, this award winning product(s) includes other great features to improve your drysuit diving experience such as:

  • Moisture management technology that acts as the second stage in moisture movement away from the skin
  • Quick drying characteristics for rapid evaporation keeping you dry and comfortable
  • Zippered stretch pockets
  • Low profile thumb loops to assist donning
  • Lycra stirrups keep pants in place when donning a drysuit
