CBS Boston reports that there have been plenty of shark sightings off the Massachusetts coast this summer, but none quite like this.
Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries was working with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy off Monomoy, Cape Cod, when a great white shark jumped out of the water trying to grab a seal.
It appears the seal escaped. Skomal, the state's shark expert, captured it all on video.
He said they tagged two more great whites in that area the same day.
