On Saturday, Jan 25, 2003, the Beneath The Sea's Trustees presented two checks totaling $5,000 to the Westchester Medical Center for their Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. The donation was the result of a unanimous vote by the BTS Trustees as part of their Ocean Pals program and support. One check for $2,500 is earmarked for an aquarium at the new children's facility, while the other $2,500 is Ocean Pals' commitment to bring ocean life into the new aquarium environment through its ''Sea of Tomorrow Society.'' BTS President JoAnn Zigahn enthusiastically pointed out, ''This is just the beginning of Beneath The Sea's commitment to this exciting project. On Friday, March 28th at the Radisson Suites Hotel in Secaucus, NJ, a black tie benefit, ''Meet The Fish and Famous,'' will be held in conjunction with the opening of the annual Beneath The Sea Exposition at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, the weekend of March 28, 29 and 30.''
