CoCo View Resort Helicopter Tours introduced in the Honduras Bay Islands CoCo View Resort (Roatan) and Utila Lodge (Utila) have built helicopter landing pads as a base for Air Roatan Ltd.'s new helicopter tour service. CoCo View, famous for 24/7 barrier reef wall diving, and Utila Lodge, the Shark Research Institute's Caribbean field station for whale shark studies, are now offering helicopter tours through the Honduras Bay Islands. Sample itinerary: Whale shark siting tour: Only by air can you experience all the awesome mountains, deep green valleys, and local color of seaside villages and backwater bays that Roatan has to offer. Then bank out to sea, toward the island of Utila.Keep an eye peeled as you fly over waters populated by whale sharks - the largest fish in the sea. Dive-hard CoCo View guests won't miss the boat.
