Ostrich Farm The Curacao Ostrich Farm is the largest breeding facility outside of South Africa and houses almost 600 of the unusual birds. Here you can take a safari tour, touch an ostrich egg, feed the inquisitive ostriches, and see hatchlings breaking free of their eggs. The reserve includes an African-style restaurant called the Zambezi Restaurant and an African-inspired gift shop.

Hato Caves North of Willemstad, you'll find amazing limestone caves with ancient drawings and petroglyphs dating back 1,500 years. The formations have been given fanciful names, and lighting has been added to make the experience fascinating and eerie at the same time.

Curacao Sea Aquarium Located next to the Curacao Underwater Park, the Sea Aquarium complex includes the aquarium, a hotel, a beach area and a marina and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Curacao. Here visitors can experience animal encounters underwater, for both certified and non-certified divers.

Kura Hulanda Museum most notably an archeological museum that traces the history of the slave trade in Curacao, the museum is part of a huge resort area that includes a hotel and spa complex, a casino, and an on-site dive shop.

Wind Generators Curacao's first wind generators were installed in 1985 at Tera Kora. A second wind farm was installed at Playa Kanoa in 1993. Due in part to consistent northeast breezes, both plants have been extremely successful and are the subject of wind power studies from around the globe.

Downtown Willemstad The Willemstad harbor area spans both sides of St Anna Bay. One side is called "Punda" (point) and the other "Otrabanda" (the other side). The city itself is a colorful mix of Dutch architecture with small winding streets, numerous open-air markets, and baskets and pots flowing with vibrant displays of flowers.

Inner Harbor The inner harbor of Willemstad, the seventh largest in the world, is home to one of the most unusual bridges in existence …the "Queen Emma." The bridge is actually a pontoon bridge that folds to allow cruise ships and commercial vessels access to the harbor.

Grand Knip Beach Knip beach is a popular place for visitors and locals alike. The reef is a short swim, and a favorite place for snorkelers and divers of all levels. The beach features wide, white-sand beach, palm trees, azure waters, and views of the lush volcanic peaks.

Mt. Christoffel National Park Christoffel Park is named for the volcanic Mt. Christoffel, the highest peak in Curacao. The park contains almost 4,500 acres of natural wilderness and is home to many species found nowhere else in the world.

Shete Boka National Park The park boasts interesting natural caverns carved from millions of years of pounding surf. Steps lead to the very edge of the biggest cavern, the "Boka Tabla," where you can peer into the mouth of the cavern to see and hear the crashing waves.
