ScubaEarth Spotlight: Michael Keller

Nearly a year after his first ScubaEarth interview, PADI Assistant Instructor, Michael Keller speaks about his latest diving conquests and his active role on PADI’s online community, ScubaEarth.

As Keller reflects on 2013 he discusses not only his latest foray into the world of Tec Diving, and learning to dive on rebreather, but also on ScubaEarth and how it has grown and developed over the year with further enhancements, features and promotions.

“I can search for a location I will be visiting, and find out about the local sites that other divers have visited. This is the value that I see in ScubaEarth, and this is why I logged my dives on it: So that other divers can benefit from the information.”

He is a passionate advocate of the New Zealand dive industry, and excited by the prospect of new divers coming to New Zealand to learn to dive as a result of ScubaEarth’s promotion, “It looks like the destination feature has put diving on the map as ‘another thing to do’ for people visiting New Zealand for its natural beauty. We certainly see a lot of tourists travelling in New Zealand that make diving a part of their holiday plans.”
