FISHEYE Divemaster Wins Second Place

FISHEYE of Grand Cayman's Divemaster and Video-Pro walks away with second prize for his ten-minute entry in the International Underwater Beach Clean-up Photo and Video Competition. Since joining FISHEYE in 2000, Martin Robinson -- known to FISHEYE fans as Bart -- has spent thousands of hours underwater with his video camera guiding divers and capturing the beauty of Grand Cayman diving from West Bay to the North Wall. After joining FISHEYE it didn't take Bart long before he was the shop Video Pro. Taking his Sony VX1000 in its Amphibico housing along with him on his daily diving rounds allowed Bart to collect enough outstanding Cayman footage to put together his own video ''Within the Blue,'' a tribute to the lifestyle and divestyle of this celebrated Caribbean Resort Island. Then too, his experiences in the water and behind the camera have led to two episodes of Dive Today on the Outdoor Life Network; and two episodes of Tennis with the Kos on Fox Sports. Then came the moment of winning in a competition: the International Underwater Beach Clean-up Photo and Video Competition Bart comes to FISHEYE from Egypt where he was the Head of Instruction in El Gouna, a warm water break from diving the cold North Sea off the East Coast of Scotland in his native Britain. Congratulations Bart, and a Well-Done for your triumphs, and your growing international reputation as a Divemaster and Video-Pro in the FISHEYE tradition.
