Bring your cameras and join Sport Diver for the highly popular Roatan Photo and Video Championship. Mark your calendars for September 6 to 13 and get your vacation request in early as spaces for this event fill up quickly. Photo pros Marty Snyderman, Franklin Viola, Rick Frehsee, Jay Ireland and Georgienne Bradley will be on hand to coach participants throughout the week. Access to photographers of this caliber is unparalleled. They'll be on the dive boat with you and be available for questions and tips each afternoon. There will be seminars and presentations throughout the week to keep you inspired and take your photography to the next level, and a film festival so you can indulge in the beauty of the sea. Whether you're looking to improve your macro photography or hone your wide-angle technique, the pros on hand will share their secrets and you can apply what you've learned on your very next dive at some of the most incredible dive sites in the Caribbean . Plus you'll be able to swap techniques and tales (and win prizes, too) throughout the week at parties and events.

At the end of the week the photo pros, along with the editor of Sport Diver magazine, will judge the entries and the top three in each category will be awarded some great prizes at, what has been in the past, a rollicking awards banquet. The winning images and video will also be shown at the awards ceremony. Past prizes have included free live-aboard vacations, camera gear, top brand equipment and more.

The winning image in each category (wide-angle, macro, topside, animal portrait, diver image and creative) will be published in Sport Diver magazine.
