Sport Diver's Editor Attending PADI Tec Xplor Day Event

Eric Michael

Following the Scuba Show in Long Beach, California, PADI Americas is hosting Tec Xplor Day on June 6th at the PADI Americas Regional Headquarters in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. The day’s events will include presentations from some of the biggest names in the tec industry, as well as equipment demonstrations from at least 13 gear manufacturers. The event is a great opportunity to learn more about the latest happenings in the technical diving world. The PADI Tec Xplor Day is free to attend and prizes will be given away throughout the day.

In addition to equipment demonstrations and in-water test dives, presentations will include first-person accounts of deep water, cave and ice diving, including PADI President and COO, Dr. Drew Richardson, sharing a thrilling account of his dive expedition to Antarctica. Participants will also learn about the latest developments in sidemounts and CCR units, as well as new and upcoming PADI TecRec courses.

If you can’t attend, never fear: Sport Diver’s Editor Eric Michael will be on hand at the event and providing updates via Facebook, along with reporting on the event in an upcoming issue. Check our Facebook page for his reports.
