Anthony’s Key Resort serves up that tropical island experience and wall diving ranked in the top two for the Caribbean and Atlantic region. Our readers recognize this all-inclusive getaway's value, voting it in the Top 10 for Value of Resort!

Last year, the resort introduced its brand-new restaurant, Ankor Seafood Grill. It offers an elevated dining experience and presents a new à la carte menu every night. Anthony's Key Resort embeds eco-friendly practices throughout, reflecting a profound dedication to preserving Roatan's natural resources.

They are committed to reducing water usage and recently expanded their solar energy system, meeting the resort's complete daytime power needs, and in 2012, AKR eliminated single-use plastics on the property. Additionally, divers can learn about ocean conservation through a Project AWARE certification or volunteer in the Reef Restoration Program.

Guests can also participate in a coral nursery maintenance dive. AKR has successfully relocated broken and fragmented corals from the nursery to nearby reefs, where they are now thriving.

Of course, the main attraction at Anthony's Key Resort is diving! AKR offers a comfortable and seamless experience to over 35 surrounding dive sites with its modern fleet of 13 dive boats, including 42-foot vessels custom-designed for comfort with shade, dry storage and camera rinse areas. A 46-foot boat is dedicated to snorkeling. The variety of boats allows for groups tailored to experience levels and interests. AKR instructors and crew make it all happen and were voted in the Top 10 for Quality of Staff.

Can’t Miss Dive

Dive with sharks in the picturesque waters on the southern side of Roatan, at depths ranging from 70 to 80 feet. Encounter a mesmerizing gathering of 8-12 Caribbean Reef Sharks simultaneously. This dive offers a leisurely and observational experience, with scheduled weekly sessions for participants.

Ultimate Escape

AKR offers a mix of hillside and private island rooms. Guests can book overwater bungalows known as Key Deluxe rooms, delivering more privacy and space to spread out.
