Discover Borneo

From 15 – 26 March 2012, PADI Diving Society members will travel into the wilds of Borneo on an expedition through jungles, across rivers and spanning oceans to the protected island of Sipadan. Home to some of the world’s most pristine coral reefs, those lucky enough to dive here can have the marine encounter of a lifetime.

“Sipadan is the only ocean island in Malaysia,” says Clement Lee, owner of PADI Five Star Instructor Development Center Borneo Divers. “You can see turtles, schools of barracuda, schools of jackfish, white tip sharks, back tip sharks, schools of giant parrot fish, many macro and minute lives. You may say, we can see all these in other destinations too, yes, but for all of these (and more) to be found in the same island is truly unique.”

Many will dream of coming here, but only an adventurous few will ever experience the magic of Malaysia’s Borneo first hand. Join PADI Diving Society on this once in a lifetime excursion.
