Anytime you have adults playing musical chairs on the beach, you know you're not at your average party. Nope, you'd be at PADI's Total Sub event on Grand Cayman, trying to make sure you have a chair -- even if it means throwing a hip check to keep someone else from grabbing your spot when the music stops. And that game was tame compared to the Paper Dance. But first, the day's diving!

Instead of heading out to the reefs in the morning, divers signed up for the underwater poker run. After Jaxx of Sunset Divers gave an easy-to-follow compass clinic, divers were given four headings. At each point, a PADI or Sunset Divers staffer handed each diver a card. Once they collected four cards, divers got their fifth one from two of PADI's best dealers, Niccole Sherman and Aja Clarke. This topside last-card station was added after it was determined that perhaps there was some underwater cheating going on in years past. I've met this group, and aside from initiating water cannon wars aboard the dive boats and stealing of team flags, I do not believe they would ever cheat underwater. Even with a GoPro HD Hero camera at stake. The winner, with four 9s in her hand, was Michelle Meester, who is a proud member of Aja Clarke's Team Blue.

Lots of divers spent their afternoon either shore diving on Sunset House's reef or relaxing by the pool or plotting how to steal another team's flag. Then, it was time to board the buses to the ferry that would take us to Rum Point for a late-afternoon and evening barbecue. The talented group High Tide played, including accompanying the musical chairs game and the Paper Dance Game. If you have never played the Paper Dance, well, then, you should come to Total Sub 2013 just to try it. Suffice it to say, most of the dancers had to get very creative in order to keep both feet on their ever-shrinking paper real estate. If evenyour little toe touched the sand, you were eliminated. I will only say that more than little toes ended up on the sand.

A great dinner, again! And assorted gigantic cookies. Not to mention a gorgeous pink sunset. The close to another fun-filled day at Total Sub.

I'm not sure we can top the Paper Dance tomorrow. But here's guessing that we'll try.
