The Jim Church School of Underwater Photography will continue offering full service underwater photography courses aboard the Aggressor Fleet live-aboards. Church selected Mike Haber and Mike Mesgleski, his close associates for over 15 years, to team teach his style of underwater photography instruction on board the live-aboard dive vessels of the Aggressor Fleet. Jim's primary goal was teaching his students how to shoot great pictures. His lectures and presentations are legendary. But he did not stop there. Jim took a very active role in helping his students in the water. Jim rarely carried a camera, or thought about taking his own photos when he dove with his students, said Haber and Mesgleski. His primary focus was helping his students shoot beautiful photos. That is our philosophy as well. You can be a first time shooter wanting to know the difference between an f-stop and a bus stop, or you can be a seasoned veteran with five courses under your belt looking to try multiple strobe techniques or get into digital underwater photography. The objective is to see to it that everyone gets what he wants out of the course and has a great time doing it. Aggressor Fleet provides the underwater photographer with a world class environment for developing their skills. The dive locations are among the world's greatest photo locales, and there can be no finer learning platform than an Aggressor live-aboard vessel. Aggressor vessels are photo friendly. Each is staffed with individuals who are themselves accomplished photographers or videographers, who understand the particular needs of a guest with an UW photo interest. All of this is why the Jim Church School of Underwater Photography and Aggressor fleet are such a perfect fit. Both styles combine to create a wonderful environment for novice or veteran to enhance their underwater photo skills.
