Palau's Fish ‘n Fins Dive Shop Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Fish ‘n Fins, the pioneer dive shop in Palau, will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Dec. 12. To commemorate the anniversary, Fish ‘n Fins has published a new diving and snorkeling guidebook.

The book has full descriptions of Palau’s diving and snorkeling sites, 3D illustrations of dive sites and WWII wrecks, as well as beautiful photos taken over the years by renowned underwater renowned photographers who have been friends of Fish ‘n Fins for many years. This book is Palau’s best keepsake for years to come. The book will be available at the Fish ‘n Fins shop and at selected shops in Micronesia. Fish ‘n Fins dive shop was founded in 1972 by Mr. Dive Palau, Francis Toribiong. For his pioneering, Francis was inducted in 2010 to the Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. In 1998, Fish ‘n Fins management was transferred to the hands of Tova and Navot Bornovski, who expanded the dive shop, activities, community and conservation efforts. Fish ‘n Fins has been Palau’s only PADI IDC center for the last 10 years.
