The team at Aggressor Liveaboards is known for its meticulous attention to providing the best experience no matter which destination you choose, but guests may not realize the amount of research and time that goes into exploring new routes in a destination. That care is evident in the Philippines, where Aggressor’s two yachts—Philippines Aggressor and Philippines Aggressor II—now cruise to new spots along with well-known sites. Here in the western Pacific Ocean’s “Coral Triangle,” you will have one jaw-dropping experience after another.
“This was the dive trip of a lifetime, and I have been on many other Aggressor trips. The only problem is that I have been spoiled for life. I cannot imagine a better experience; The entire crew was the best ever. The ship was perfect. The food was consistently excellent. Of course, the dives themselves were also magnificent.” - Nicholas W.
Depending on the time of year, the two yachts offer seven- and 10-night itineraries on four different itineraries: Best of the Visayas, Visayas South, Tubbataha and the Tubbataha-Visayas Transition cruise. Where you embark and disembark the yacht depends on which one you choose. The Best of the Visayas itinerary follows a route that takes advantage of the best weather, sea conditions and visibility at the time you board. Conditions permitting, you may visit Malapascua, Capitancillo, Anda, Pamilacan, Balicasag and Cabilao. This itinerary is a jam-packed wonderland of soft coral-covered walls, black sand dives, thresher shark encounters, huge schools of sardines and jacks, and whale shark sightings.

There are four different routes available in the Visayas South region, which may include Cabilao, Balicasag, Sumilon, Moalboal, Pescador, Siquijor, Apo Island and Dauin. As on all of the Philippines itineraries, this trip is a marine biologist’s dream come true, thanks to the astonishing marine biodiversity—from whale sharks to the reef’s smallest critters, such as waspfish, ghost pipefish and anemonefish.
Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park in the Sulu Sea is a UNESCO World Heritage site, where a head-swiveling array of beautiful reefs, macro creatures and sharks await you. North Atoll, South Atoll and Jessie Beazley Reef are patrolled by blacktip, whitetip, grey reef, silky, whale sharks and the occasional hammerhead.
During the seasonal transition charter, a 10-night, 11-day itinerary, you get the best of both the Visayas and Tubbataha as the yacht relocates between its port in Cebu and the one in Puerta Princessa.
Whichever itinerary or yacht you choose, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience in one of the world’s most exotic and spectacular archipelagoes.
