Isn’t it time for a comeback?
A comeback to spending time somewhere spectacularly beautiful and inherently relaxing with the people you love.
A return to the natural rhythm of days filled with sunshine, dictated only by sunrise and sunset and set to the soundtrack of the ocean, from first light to twilight.
A return to connecting with the world–and reconnecting with yourself, too.
For Jamaica, this moment is also a comeback.
And when you plan your next dive vacation at Sandals Jamaica Resorts, you can expect to be whisked to the island’s best dive sites aboard new customized Newton dive boats to enjoy epic scuba diving alongside expert dive instructors and captains.
Why Jamaica Is Back on Every Scuba Diver’s Radar
Sandals Jamaica Resorts have been reimagined and are reopening in a way designed to connect guests to their own magical moments more than ever on this beautiful Caribbean island. And as always, scuba diving is part of the all-inclusive package. Certified divers can enjoy two, one-tank dives each day during a single boat trip—or head out twice in the same day for two single tank boat dives (subject to availability). For an additional cost (and some additional excitement, too), wreck dives and night dives are also offered at most Sandals Resorts.
Sandals Jamaica Resorts offer all-inclusive accommodations, unique dining experiences, water sports and complimentary scuba diving for certified divers, making them the obvious choice for travelers planning a scuba diving Jamaica vacation
Jamaica’s comeback is your own personal invitation to plan an all-inclusive scuba diving vacation where you can enjoy all the underwater and topside fun at an iconic island resort. At Sandals Jamaica Resorts, the vacation good life is all in the details—and those details are better than ever for divers seeking one of the best Caribbean dive resort experiences.
The Great Jamaica Comeback: Three Reimagined Resorts

Three of the island’s favorite Sandals Jamaica Resorts will open before the end of 2026 thanks to an investment of $200 million in upgrades by Sandals Resorts International.
Reimagining these great resorts has led to incredible new experiences and backdrops for guests to enjoy, according to Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International.
“At a pivotal moment, it became clear: We shouldn’t simply restore what was there. We should dream bigger,” said Stewart.
The refreshed guest experience includes upgraded accommodations, new pools, updated lounges and redesigned gathering spaces. Bold new flavors concepts and bar experiences round out the offerings at these legendary properties.
What's New at Sandals Jamaica Montego Bay
At Sandals Montego Bay–Jamaica’s original all-inclusive resort and where the Sandals story first started–a new sense of space and flow will welcome guests back to the island’s largest white sand beach on December 18, 2026.

The resort’s 12 new and refreshed restaurants, bars and cafes include Buccan, a brand-new concept that showcases fresh island ingredients and invites guests to connect, family-style, over a memorable meal.
Parisol Beach Club is the resort’s new open-air hangout, right on the sand, with laid-back beach club vibes setting the scene for everything from casual breakfasts overlooking the sea to cocktails. The resort’s refreshed rooms include the addition of swim-up pools to some, and the main pool has been redesigned with direct beach access to put Jamaica’s incredible seaside nature within even closer reach for guests.
Certified divers can enjoy colorful underwater sites within the Montego Bay Marine Park. Sea turtles are frequently seen at Surprise Reef and Airport Reef is known for the healthy, large barrel sponges decorating its seascape. Wherever you dive, look for beloved tropical reef fish like parrot fish and sergeant majors swimming atop the reefs.
What's New at Sandals Jamaica Caribbean Cay (Formerly Sandals Royal Caribbean)
Finally, a new era of oceanfront luxury gets ushered in on December 18, 2026, when Sandals Caribbean Cay (formerly Sandals Royal Caribbean) opens its doors to guests with delightful experiences designed to wow.
On the resort’s private island, Sandals Cay, Parisol Beach Club allows the views to steal the show as you kick back with music, cocktails and casual meals in the open-air setting.

Brand new resort restaurants include Suppa, spotlighting bold Jamaican flavors with plates designed for sharing, as well as Southern Italian favorite, Tesoro, for delectable pastas and Neapolitan pizzas.
Down on the white sand beach, new palapas and massage areas invite guests to lounge and relax.
Certified divers enjoy complimentary scuba diving as part of their stay at Sandals Caribbean Cay, with access to some of Jamaica's most beautiful underwater experiences.
What's New at Sandals Jamaica South Coast
In Whitehouse, Sandals South Coast will emerge tethered to the island in an even deeper way when it reopens on November 18, 2026. Newly renovated pool and plaza areas make gathering intuitive on these gorgeous grounds surrounded by 500 acres of protected nature reserve. This is one of Jamaica’s most truly natural settings for a dive vacation.

The property’s six new and reimagined restaurants and bars include an upgraded buffet experience, the brand-new Blum Coffee (where Jamaica’s own Blue Mountain beans are always brewing), and Butch Island’s Chophouse, a steak and seafood sensation.
At the resort’s new pool and down on the white sand beach, the resort’s comeback comes through with a new sense of connection to the land and sea–and an overall deeper sense of place that’s all yours to enjoy.
Favorite shallow dive sites near the resort include Whitehouse Reef and Cottage Reef, where the pretty corals and sponges decorating the reef are a playground for all manner of reef fish.
