- Don't dive over your head (so to speak). If dive conditions are too difficult for your current experience level, skip it.
- Ensure you?re properly weighted for the dive conditions.
- Distribute weights evenly around the belt and secure them in place.
- Cinch the belt tightly and re-secure it once you have reached depth.
- Keep accurate notes in your logbook about weighting and conditions. Refer to it before suiting up.
