Over the years Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas has been highlighted in the world’s media, from famous Hollywood productions to local magazine and newspaper articles, on the work that they do for tourism and marine conservation. Stuart Cove’s has hosted students involved with environmental studies from a high school to PHD level. The International staff takes part in nonprofit works, like Project AWARE, actively partaking in beach and ocean debris cleanups, involving local communities around the country. Over the past 30 years, thousands of people have shared the beauty of the underwater world with us. We are honored to have helped them create memories, which they can savor for a lifetime. Now we are excited to announce that Stuart Cove’s is ready to advance in their Training Programs. We would like to invite those eager to join the professional PADI Diving Community, with the chance to take part in the Instructor Development Course and Instructor Examination here with us in Nassau.
Heading this exciting new program is Stuart Cove’s head of training Hayley-Jo Carr. Hayley has extensive experience in the SCUBA diving world, and recently became our first Course Director, after completing the PADI Course Director Training Program in the Dominican Republic in June of this year. After finishing a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Sport and Recreation Studies in the UK, Hayley began travelling the world gaining teaching experience and developing the passion she has for the diving industry. On arriving in the Bahamas six years ago she has been conscientiously working with Stuart Cove’s to create and build PADI recognized courses, that have helped define Stuart Cove’s as a leader in the training field, and which now plays a unique role in the Diving Industry.
On the Sept. 1, 2015, Stuart Cove’s launches its first IDC program. We want to open our world-class facility, to be the backdrop for those interested in becoming the next generation of diving instructors. Our ability to mold the course and create a package that will suit your needs defines our willingness to serve. Stuart Cove’s offer includes a list of free additions to our IDC Program:

Conservation is an extremely important aspect of the Stuart Cove’s work model. In 2011 the Bahamian Government made the Bahamas a Shark Sanctuary. We carry this through our IDC Program, allowing our students the chance to become certified and teach in an ecologically balanced reef system, teaming with fish, plant life and healthy shark populations. The opportunities at Stuart Cove’s are endless. We look forward to welcoming and sharing the beauty of our Bahamian waters with you!
Please contact Hayley-Jo Carr at: [email protected] for more information about our September 1st and December 2nd, 2015 IDC classes. If these dates are not suitable, a list of dates throughout 2016 is available.
