Just 50 miles east of South Florida, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center is the gateway to some of the Bahamas’ most unforgettable underwater adventures. From summer reef diving in Bimini to winter encounters with great hammerheads and tiger sharks, the experiences change with the seasons, but the adventure never stops.

Summer in Bimini offers some of the most diverse diving and snorkeling in The Bahamas. One day might be spent exploring vibrant reefs, while the next could include drifting colorful walls, diving historic wrecks like the iconic S.S. Sapona or snorkeling alongside wild dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles. Add warm temperatures, long daylight hours and easy access from Florida, and it’s easy to see why summer remains one of Bimini’s best-kept secrets.

For many divers, however, the ultimate draw lies in the Bahamas’ legendary shark encounters. From winter dives with great hammerheads in Bimini to spring expeditions with tiger sharks in Grand Bahama, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center offers access to two of the diving world’s most sought-after bucket-list adventures.

Best of all, these adventures are just a short ferry ride or flight from South Florida. The shop’s year-round Dive + Hotel Packages pair world-class diving with accommodations at Bimini Big Game Club, where guests can walk from their room to the boat in minutes.

It’s just so beautiful this time of year,” says Leesa Fountain of Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center. “The dolphins are frolicking, the stingrays are soaking up the sun and green turtles, lemon sharks and Caribbean reef sharks are never too far away. Plus, with all those extra hours of daylight, you'll have time to drift our colorful walls, explore our incredible wrecks and enjoy everything that makes summer diving in Bimini so special.”

Summer Dive Packages: Bimini's Best-Kept Secret (May–September)

Available May 23 through Sept. 7, 2026, the shop’s three-night Feels Like Summer Dive + Hotel Package combines accommodations at Bimini Big Game Club with some of the island’s most popular underwater adventures: explore vibrant reefs, drift colorful walls, dive historic wrecks, encounter Caribbean reef sharks and swim alongside wild dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles.
