And many divers do just that since a magnificent wall waits only a few fin kicks from its shore. The CoCo View Wall is just one of the bonuses that divers will cash in on when they visit this PADI 5-Star Resort. Starting in as little as 15 feet, the wall drops to more than 100 feet with ledges harboring orange cup coral, lettuce corals and a plethora of macro critters and schools of fish, including the prominent creole wrasses, blue tangs and snappers. Other easily accessible dives from shore include the wreck of the Prince Albert and Newman's Wall. The rest of Roatan's world-famous sites, such as Mary's Place and Calvin's Crack, are only a short boat ride away, and day trips to the neighboring island of Utila are also available. The resort is absolute heaven for dive-aholics - its packages include unlimited shore diving (including night dives) and two boat dives per day. And get this on the way back from the boat dive, they will drop you off on the wall for a second dive. It's kind of a "ski in, ski out" for divers.
