Lord Howe Island Most divers have never been to Lord Howe Island. But if there's a place on our planet worth every minute of time and ounce of effort to get to, this is it. About 435 miles northeast of Sydney, Lord Howe sits at the wonderful edge of the tropical and subtropical marine worlds.
