Watch as a retired Voodoo F101 fighter jet is submerged off Panama City Beach. The slow and gentle descent to the ocean floor, followed by a solid "clunk" at the bottom, puts this jet in its final resting place. The best part? Two of these fighter jets were deliberately sunk for divers! The Bay County Tourist Development Council provided $30,000 to sink the jets, and $60,000 from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission's artificial reef program was also used.
