May 2010 Editors Pick Camaro 5 mm Stingray Wetsuit

FIRST LOOK A great anatomical cut and high-stretch base material make the Stingray perfect for divers looking for fit and warmth. KEY FEATURES The good-looking Stingray is made of four-way-stretch neoprene, with X-Tend flex panels in the lumbar area, shoulders and chest area and a titanium plush interior. Wrist and ankle zips make for easy donning, and the front-entry zipper is oh-so-easy to self-zip. The contoured cut, lumbar stretch panel and plush lining make this a comfortable suit. Seams are glued and blind-stitched, and all internal seam ends and intersections are taped for extra reinforcement. A smooth-skin finished hem is also included at the neck, wrist and ankle openings. Wrists and ankles are fitted with zippers with water-blocking nylon gussets, and the front-entry zip is a water-blocking G-Lock, backed by a smooth-skin underflap and double overflaps. Abrasion-resistant Supratek kneepads offer leg protection. DIVER IMPRESSIONS Camaro's Stingray gets the details right in suit construction. Extra touches – like cuff seals and glued and blind-stitched seams – also boost heat retention. And if you want to add versatility, we liked layering it with other Camaro products, such as the Stingray Monovest ($149.95) and Hood ($39.95). Even better: the suit was a dream to put on and take off.
